About Us
The mission of Ugly Church is to identify, promote, and support churches and individuals doing holistic ministry among the marginalized, disenfranchised, and disregarded, whom Jesus referred to as the “least”, and to encourage and educate churches in how to engage them. Ugly Church believes that Jesus laid out the blueprint for His ministry in Luke 4, which as the body of Christ, the Church is called to follow.
We seek to be a source of encouragement for churches and organizations involved in “live by” rather than “drive by” ministry. Through our diverse gifts and abilities, by working together for the Kingdom of God, more can be done together for the glory of God than separately.
Resources & Community
We’re all about developing a community of collaboration and support. To fulfill our calling to reach the least, last, and lost, we need the body of Christ working together.
